History
1974
Krons Urboutiqe in ”PK Huset” opens in October by Oskar Kron. The store was a trendsetter in selling fashionwatches and it had its own brand Juwel. On Mäster Samuelsgatan Krons Urboutique had another store.
1982
Otto Krons takes over Krons Urboutiqe after his brother Oskar.
1983
Swatch is launched.
1987
Nymans Ur buys Krons Urboutiqe the first of november. Raymond Weil was the biggest brand together with silverwatches from Golana and Juwel.
1988
The store is renovated to be part of the Klockmaster chain. Omega starts to be sold.
1993
The interest for Swatch is at its top. Krons Urboutiqe sells 3000 Swatch a year.
1994
Becomes authorized retailer for Breitling.
1996
The team that works in the store is: Margareta Lundin, Karin Elming Jan Larson, Kristian Weck and Ulrika Segerfeldt.
1997
The store is renovated and change its name to Krons Ur.
1998
In July the store next to Krons Ur; Trendwear is bought from Pearl Bensoussan so that the area of Krons Ur is doubled.
1999
Throws a lavish Party together with Breitling at ”Gamla Bryggeriet” in the old town part of Stockholm. Swedish comedian Gert Fylking is Conférencier. Krons Ur sells 300 Breiling watches this year wich is a record. Krons Ur sold most of Breitling UTC in the world.
2002
IWC makes Krons Ur a authorized IWC retailer.
2003
Rolex makes Krons Ur a authorized Tudor retailer.
2004
Jaeger le Coultre makes Krons Ur a authorized Jaeger le Coultre retailer. The store builds a new system with timelocks on the displays due to several robberies.
2006
Rents the Globe Arena and plays icehockey with customers and agents. Ulysse Nardin makes Krons Ur a authorized Ulysse Nardin retailer.
2007
Zenith makes Krons Ur a authorized Zenith retailer.
2008
On the 1 of December we open our new modern service workshop for 7 of our 12 watchmakers.
2009
Main sponsor for a Polo event together with Jaeger le Coultre.
2010
Today, we are authorized retailers for Baume & Mercier, Breitling, IWC, Jaeger Le Coultre, Omega, Sjöö Sandström, Tudor, Ulysse Nardin and Zenith.
